Kanchipuram Tamil Nadu Tour

Kanchipuram is among the seven sacred town in Tamil Nadu. It is situated on the north-eastern coast of Tamil Nadu, adjacent to the Bay of Bengal and Chennai City. The religious town has strong historical background, which dates back during the Pallavas and Cholas dynasty. Ekambaranatha Temple:

Kamakshi Amman Temple:

Kanchi Kamakshi Temple:

Devoted to Kanchi Kamakshi, Madurai Meenakshi and Kasi Visalakshi, the temple is one of the triad of temples in the world. Visitors can enjoy the vivid paintings exhibited in the temple wal. The main focus draws on the massive sculpture of Kamakshi, creatively deigned in color and intricate work.

Other attractions of note in Kanchipuram are Kailasanathar Temple, Vaikunda Perumal Temple, Kanchi Kudhil, Devarajaswami Temple and Varadaraja Temple.

Best time to visit Kanchipuram

An ideal time make a Kanchipuram trip is from October to March. Pilgrims can also visit during the festive occasion like Brahmothsavan(January), Garudothsavam(April) and Chariot festival(May).
